My friend Vivian hosted a little Valentines's themed hangout at her house yesterday. We meant to organise it earlier but it unfortunately had to be postponed, and as a result not everyone was able to attend. Still, we had a lot of fun! ^ _ ^

Vivian prepared some tasty and thematic treats, and the three of us brought crafting supplies. Rossella worked on some sewing projects, Vivian crocheted some strawberries and we all spent some time drawing.

I had a night out with friends the day before so I was a bit hungover, luckily the hangout was comfy and casual and about as relaxing as being at home. I felt a little crusty so I didn't take an individual coord picture, but we did take some cute group shots. (Though I had my eyes closed in 70% of them, whoops > _ <)

We didn't coordinate it that way, but it turns out we all wore pink!

I drew one of my characters that I designed just a short while before but I honestly wasn't very happy with the end result. I've gotten so used to drawing digitally that it was really frustrating that every little mistake was permanent. Still, I'll keep practicing!

Yes, I know, I kind of forgot to post here for a bit. Somehow in my mind it feels like it's far more effort to post here than on something like Instagram when it really isn't. I shouldn't feel like I need to have something profound or deeply interesting to post to "justify" posting here, because it's just a little personal space that no one's forced to look at. I'd love it if this place could take off as a community more and in order to do that, I need to keep posting and commenting!

So in the spirit of "low effort is better than no effort", here's a little overview of the outfits I wore last week that I took the time to photograph!

Every day I love Atelier Boz a little bit more. I'm so sad they closed down and their secondhand prices have skyrocketed > n <

A casual outfit I ended up liking a lot. I don't have a lot of browns and neutrals since they don't go with my 90% black wardrobe so it's always nice when I find the one combination that works ^ o ^

We were going to have a little Valentines themed hangout with friends but the host's boyfriend turned out to have Covid so it got cancelled last minute T o T I still wanted to wear the outfit I had planned, featuring this super cute heart headdress made by my friend Vivian!

The first prompt of this challenge was: your favorite piece worn 2 or more ways. Because I'm a rebel I decided to do both coords in one week but I initially struggled a bit with deciding on a favorite piece. I of course have some sort of sliding scale between dresses I think are nice and dresses I would save first if my house were on fire but no definitive favorite has been named.

I decided to go with my Little Princess Velveteen OP as I've owned it for quite some time, am very attached to it and yet tend to coord it fairly similarly most times I wear it. I decided to go for two contrasting looks: doll-like and sweet in one coord, and more edgy and punk in the other.

Which one do you like more?

A highly anticipated package unexpectedly arrived at my doorstep today: Atelier Boz's simply named Lace OP released in 2001. Does anyone else miss the days when dresses were just named things like Babydoll JSK and Plaid 3 Tier Skirt? No confusion about what those look like.
